Llanfairfechan Round Puffin Race, Tricky launching and landing in onshore light breeze. 19 entered,5 declined to launch and several abandoned as slow progress into light N meant crossing reef and Sound late so quite rough, though fun. Nice sailing close to island too, have motored closer but sailing is more pleasant.
After tactical mistake of tacking east into lighter winds and rougher sea, and catamaran pointing poorly we may well have been last with handicap after tacking 9nm compared to second boat's 6 to get to island
